HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHURA! January 12! Capricorn is represented by a sea-goat. It's related to the god Aegipan (but also Pan), who helped Zeus against the Titans and had his image put among the stars as a reward. Another myth says it represents the goat Amalthea, that took care of Zeus when he was a child. Sumerians thought it was a Nubian ibex but this constellation was bigger because it included also the stars of Aquarius. All in all it was seen as an important constellation: sea-goats (and goats) were sacred icons related to gods of water. In Egypt it was an ibis or a fish and was related to the god Khnum, who had a predominant role among the deities.
This year I will be drawing a picture for every gold saint’s birthday! They will be “disguised” as the symbol of their constellation Last years I tried too, but I made just fews pics [link][link] ... and also [link][link][link][link] *self-advertising* But now I’m more self-confident and I’m sure I’ll finish this collection.
Shura! Happy birthday from your loyal fangoat Gem! I already have a lovely idea for Mu, plus I’m really happy because February is coming and this means the next saint is…
